Xfinity troubleshooting no sound

There are a few things you can do to fix your problem. If you have another device on hand, e.g. For example, a Blu-ray player or a game console, first connect it to the TV, which is now connected to your Comcast-Box. We want to determine if the problem is Comcast or your TV.

To ensure that this is an accurate test, connect the second device's HDMI cable to the same HDMI port that the Comcast cable is on. We want to see if there is a problem with this port.

Then turn on the second device and check if you hear any sound. If not, the problem is with your TV. When you get the sound, the problem is Comcast.

If the problem is with your TV, try connecting the HDMI cable to another HDMI port. If you still have a sound problem, it is definitely your TV and you need a service call.

However, if the problem is Comcast, you can try the following to restore your sound.

Press the menu button on your Comcast remote twice. Then click Audio Setup in the menu lists on your screen. Then take a look at the HDMI sound setting. If it is off, turn it on.

What is the use of spectrum

Spectrum the cable and internet service provider formed from Charter Communications' amalgamation with Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks.

What is the use of the spectrum?

The uses of spectrum involve:
                    Voice of America broadcasts,
                    Radars,
as well as voice communication systems used to manage both business and private aeronautical and maritime traffic, flood warning, weather satellite systems,  and water control systems, and time signals. Approximately 93 percent of the assignments authorizing government radio stations are under 3.1 gigahertz (GHz).

The Department of Defense (DOD) uses a remarkable portion of the federal government spectrum for national security reasons. The federal government uses only the portions of the spectrum that it requires to give critical public services, and pursue to use the most efficient technology compatible with available resources.

Almost every agency of the federal government uses the spectrum in performing authorized missions. Two governing themes are always present in the government's use of radio:

The need for telecommunication is stacked upon the federal agencies by the morality of the missions and programs approved by the President according to congressional legislative and funding support.
The use of radio, instead of other sorts of communication, is dictated by the kind of service required and the unavoidable elements of time and space.

To certify for Spectrum Mobile, you should either already subscribe to Spectrum Internet or be willing to sign up for the service. You also have to purchase a device via Spectrum Mobile or Spectrum bill payment, sign up for automatic payments, and meet the company's credit requirements.

Both Spectrum plans give unlimited texting and calling, and both plans hinder video streaming to DVD-Quality (typically 480p) when you connect through a cellular network. What are the 23 Channels Spectrum is Dropping

Cable prices continue to hike; Spectrum is all set to drop 23 Viacom channels. Viacom is not asking for extra money from Spectrum. Actually, Viacom is giving Spectrum an opportunity to lower your cable bill and keep these channels on the air. Instead of work on their customer's behalf, Spectrum is selecting to drop these channels. For more information contact customer service for quick guide:- 1888-306-0982.

Spectrum has also stopped giving the lower prices once you subscribed to more than one premium channel. When you paid the full charge for the first premium channel, the rest were always lower priced. Does the spectrum have a whole-house DVR?

Enhanced Whole House DVR Specs
The Enhanced Whole House DVR from Time Warner Cable operates the ARRIS DCX3600-M advanced video gateway. It has six tuners, 3D capabilities, a 1 TB disk drive, and a built-in modem. The box features cable and IR inputs and, of course, a daily power input. It also has component, composite, HDMI, and SPDIF optical audio outputs, along with an RJ45 Ethernet port, an eSATA port, and two USB ports.

Important Update!
The Enhanced Whole House DVR system is no longer provided by Time Warner Cable since the company’s recent change to Spectrum. Only users who already subscribed to a Time Warner Cable package that supported Whole House DVR will still receive the service. It won't be available to new customers.

Spectrum also launched its new DVR system in 2018. For more information about WorldBox 2.0, visit Spectrum bill payment.

Other Options
As Spectrum never helps the Time Warner Cable Enhanced Whole House DVR on its bundles, and thus the standard Spectrum DVR doesn’t have whole house abilities, you would possibly seem for another DVR system or even a new TV service provider.
