What is the use of spectrum

Spectrum the cable and internet service provider formed from Charter Communications' amalgamation with Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks.

What is the use of the spectrum?

The uses of spectrum involve:
                    Voice of America broadcasts,
                    Radars,
as well as voice communication systems used to manage both business and private aeronautical and maritime traffic, flood warning, weather satellite systems,  and water control systems, and time signals. Approximately 93 percent of the assignments authorizing government radio stations are under 3.1 gigahertz (GHz).

The Department of Defense (DOD) uses a remarkable portion of the federal government spectrum for national security reasons. The federal government uses only the portions of the spectrum that it requires to give critical public services, and pursue to use the most efficient technology compatible with available resources.

Almost every agency of the federal government uses the spectrum in performing authorized missions. Two governing themes are always present in the government's use of radio:

The need for telecommunication is stacked upon the federal agencies by the morality of the missions and programs approved by the President according to congressional legislative and funding support.
The use of radio, instead of other sorts of communication, is dictated by the kind of service required and the unavoidable elements of time and space.
